tion of the arts and crafts returns to
the relaxed park -like setting of the
Lambton Heritage Museum, front

across -southern Ontario to make a
weekend of this event. •
Vendors come from throughout
Lambton County; and indeed from
all over Ontario, to' participate in
this -event. Some of 'the more
unique-items.available include jiffy
scarves with velcro fasteners, by
Dianne Kroes of -Burlington, jug
works, woven baskets and shadows
by Richardson's Crafter's Depot of
St. Thomas, and petal porcelain by

Strawberry social raises
funds for Alzheimer Society
HENSALL - Queensway -resi-
dents, their families. staff and the
community took part . in the annual
Strawberry Social .Fundraiser for
the Alzheimer Society of Huron
County on June 28. The weather
could nut decide if it was going to
'rain or shine. but the sun prevailed
and it ended up as a beautiful day..; '
