High speed chase ends in Exeter
EXETER - Three young offenders are charged with possession of
stolen property after they were caught in Exeter after a high speed •
chase and a footchase.
London OPP Const. Donna Shulist said officers responded •to call
about a suspicious vehicle on Columbia Dr. in Huron Park at about
6:05 a.m. on Sunday.
The officers found the vehicle but it sped away when they tried to
• stop it. -
A highspeed chase ensued for about 10 km from Huron Park to
Exeter at speeds up to 160 km/h.
The vehicle stopped on William St..in Exeter and the four occupants
fled on foot.
The officers caught three youths after a footchase.'The vehicle, an
'88 Pontiac Grand Am, had been hot-wired and stolen from London:
The driver is a 16 -year-old Huron Park male. The other two youths
caught are males aged 12 and 13 from London.
The OPP are still seeking the last suspect. The investigation
continues. -
Exeter woman dead after crash
HARRINGTON.- Exeter's Margaret Dover, 65, was killed on June
16 in a two car collision in Harrington.
Oxford OPP said Dover was travelling east on County Rd. 28 when •
she failed to stop at an intersection. Her car was struck by another
heading -south on County Rd. 6 driven by Joanne Lupton, 31.of Zorra
Twp. Lupton, her two children and a family friend suffered non -life
threatening injuries, the OPP said. -
Stolen car found at Lucan arena
LUCAN - A car parked for a few days at Lucan Community
Memorial Centre last week turned out to be stolen from Exeter.
A white Buick at the Lucan arena was first noticed by an employee
there on June 13. When it was still parked there three days later, the
employee reported it to the OPP, Shulist said. .
The car was not damaged.
CD player stolen from Stephen car
STEPHEN TWP. - A Sony CD player was stolen from a car parked
in an Algonquin Dr. driveway in Stephen Twp. overnight Saturday.
Shulist said the car was left unlocked at the time.
Pot plants found in Usborne
USBORNE TWP. - Twelve marijuana plants were found by a farmer
while he was cultivating his corn field along 'Osborne Twp. Conc. 6 last
week. -
The OPP removed the plants and destroyed them.
Bike found at Parker pit
USBORNE TWP. - A mountain bike was found at Parker Gravel Pit
in Usborne Twp. on June 20.
Shulist said if you're missing your bike, call the Exeter OPP
detachment at 235-1300, ask for occurrence *7809-3 and provide a
description of the bike to claim it.
Woman's watch found in Lucan
LUCAN - A woman's watch was found on the sidewalk by B&B
Auto Supply on Alice St. in Lucan on June 20.
Contact the London OPP detachment at 681-0300 and provide a
description to claim it if your watch is missing.
Loot stolen from Thirsty Fox
GRAND BEND - A bag containing an undisclosed amount of money
and receipts was stolen sometime between June 1416 from the Thirsty
Fox restaurant on Ontario St. in Grand Bend.
The North Lambon OPP request anyone with information on this

introduces 'Pay
What You Can'
BLYTH - The Blyth Festival
magic may be just a little rougher.
but the price is certainly right!
The Festival is introducing Pay
What You Can Nights' for the first
time in its 24 -year history., This
year, the Festival has added one ex-
tra preview performance to each
show's production schedule. The
first of these previews will be open
to members of the public who en-
joy the fun of being the first audi-
ence to watch a production while it
is still being fine-tuned prior to its
opening night.
The Blyth Festival hopes this
new policy will encourage those
who've never been to the theatre to
give it a try. Patrons who feel they
can only afford one or two admis-
sions at regular prices now have the
added opportunity to see all the
Main Stage comedies this season.
Pay What You Can performances
have no reserved seating and gener-
al admission tickets may only be
purchased in person a half hour be-
fore the performance.
The Pay What You Can Nights at
the Blyth Festival are: Tuesday,
June 23 for Yesteryear; Tuesday.
June 30. for Wilbur County Blues;
Tuesday, July 28 for Thirteen
Hands; and Tuesday, August 4 for
Jobs! Jobs! Jobs!. Please note that
these performances are not includ-
ed on the calendar in the Blyth Fes-
tival's season brochure. Curtain is 8
p.m. for all performances.
The Blyth Festival offers the best
in live theatre Monday through Sat-

Theft of tractors
Two Agco Allis garden tractors were stolen from Hackett Farm
Equipment -Ltd. on County Road #1 south of Lucknow. The tractors
were stolen sometime overnight on May 22-23. Both tractors were.
orange in color. model *161611 and ZTI6HP and the serial numbers
were 0277/51147 and 50245/50403.
