Marjorie Drake has sold her
home in Staffa and has moved to an
apartment in Exeter.
Rest Home residents enjoy. picnic
ZURICH - The residents of Blue
water Rest Home were entertained
and dined by the A.uxiliary on
Tuesday. afternoon. The traditional
June picnic with the Auxiliary prior
:.t5 the summer recess was enjoyed
by oue and all. The Auxiliary will
holiday during the months of July
and August and resume their
monthly visits from September un-
til June '99.
Afternoon . tea was held on
Wednesday in the auditorium with
everyone enjoying homemade
cookies and refreshments.

byterian _ minister from Goderich
conducted . Thursday - afternoon
Chapel Service. Fr. Matthias Wron-
ski, St. Boniface Church celebrated
Mass. Bible Study was led Tuesday
morning in' the Chapel by Rev.
Gani Lazaro, Dashwood/Zurich
United Church.
Thursday evening the residents
and approximately 25' family and
friends of resident Marguerite
(Marg) Hedley and her husband
Robert of Dashwood gathered in
the auditorium to celebrate the cou-
ples' 57 years of marriage. Daugh-
ter Brenda Winhold of Blackie, Al-
berta was held up at Toronto airport
and missed the evening celebra-
tions, however she is here for the
summer months with her daughters
• and will have plenty of time to cel-
ebrate.
The Varna Hay Seeds provided
entertainment.
Friday afternoon the St. Boniface
School Choir entertained the resi-
dents under the direction of Amy
Rau. Sandra Regier and Shelley
Hoffman. The students played the
Karoo and sang many popular
songs.
Residents who attended Sunday
morning service at Zurich Mennon-
ite Church were Margaret Iless,
Marie Gingrich. Philippa Steckle,
Mable Riley and Clara Hamilton.
Condolences to the family and
friends of the late Dorothy Eileen
Hayter who passed away at BWRH
on Sunday, June 7 in her 80th year.

ing. Marg Baker gave- the Treasur-
er's Report. Rachis' talked about the
meeting she had ait,;nded in Strat-
ford. Pat and Marilyn served lunch
and everyone enjoyed reviewing
our church's 150th Anniversary.

cultural Society. held a successful
plant sale on Bill Gibson's side
lawn. Many plants from an English
Country. Garden were on sale as
well as a selection of herbs and
house plants and many unusual
items. The Horticultural Society
has recently .been planting the vil-
lage gardens.
