Exeter battled back from a 2-0 deficit at the end of the first half and a 4.3.one for the tie. Julie Carroll was the offensive star of the game for Lucan with a hat -trick while Helen Theo- philopoulas scored three goals of her own for Exeter including the first two and the tying goal late in the second half..Allison Hod- gins picked up Lucan's other goal while Becci Farquhar scored Exeter's other goal. Exeter's offsided defence didn't work on Lucan's short field causing the team some problems in the first half. Lucan took advantage of a pen- alty shot in the second half to take a 4-3 lead. Exeter then changed their defence to a man- to-man system which 'gave them more success keeping the ball out of their end. We hope that ' each individual marcher will accept the challenge to walk deeper and grow spiritually this year. Our prayer is that those involved in the March for Jesus this year will he strengthened by God's grace, and directed by His love.
