President Cohy Vandenboomen led the busi- ness. Entertainment was provided by Cactus the Clown (Anne Mousscau) of the Children's Aid Society. The next Fair Board meeting will he held on May 26 at 8 p.m. at Hay Township Hall. Those making their first commu- nion at the Saturday and Sunday Masses at St. Boniface Church by Fr. Wronksi were: Stacy Bedard, Grant Masse, Gregory Regier, Michael Hartman, Anna Hoffman and Sarah Regier. . The group Communion will be held on May 24 at a special I I a.m. Mass for parents, family members and relatives of the thirty grade two children; followed by a reception in the school gym. A reminder to save pop cans for the St. Boniface K. of C. fundrais- ing. Drop them off anytime at the home of Ralph Smith, Doug Debus, Zurich or John Jacobs in Hensall. The committee were able to collect $268 from their last load. Personals - Birthday greetings to Tony Lanshcrgen on May 23 and son Paul on May 18. Ray and Janice Hartman are new grandparents for the 31st time with the arrival of Matthew Gregory horn on April 29 to son Denis and Danielle Hartman in London. • Congratulations to first time great-grandparents Gord and Jeanne Hay on the arrival df Cole Robert William. who was born 9n April' 29 to Darryl and Cheryl Rowan of Hensall. - Kcn and Martha Mungar and • Marie Gelinas Jr. all of St. Joseph arca have a new granddaughter, Hannah Beverly, horn May 5 to parents Marc and Shannon Crane of RR #2 Zurich. The couple also • celebrated their first wedding • anniversary on May 10. Irvin and Grace Martin have- a new granddaughter Aaerin Janyne who arrived on May 12 to parents Darcy and Sheri Martin, Zurich. A welcome goes to five year old Natalie DePaepe, chosen daughter of Brian and Michelle DePaepe. Her birthday was on May 13. A shower was given for Michelle at the town hall on April 29 by Cynthia Strickland with many friends and relatives attending from Zurich, Delhi and Tillsonburg. Mother's Day weekend, visitors with the DePaepe family were Brian's mother and family from Cambridge and Tillsonburg. Sympathy of the community goes to the family of the late Wayne Willert who died suddenly on May 17. Happy birthday wishes go to Cynthia Strickland on April 29; to Marc Gelinas, Dorchester, on May 18; to Judy Grenier of Exeter on May 20 (her 40th); to Ray Mathonia on May 18 (his 40th). Happy 40th birthday to Marilyn Kenda on May 15. Coworkers at the Bank of Montreal in Zurich sur- prised her with flowers, balloons, signs, cake and coffee. A family party was held at the home of Danny and Karen Masse in Zurich on Sunday to celebrate her father Keith Volland's 65th birthday on May 19. A surprise 70th birthday party was held for Hubert Schilbe on Sunday at his home. His birthday was on May 18. Jim and Denise Dietrich celebrat- ed their l Ith anniversary on May 9. Denise also celebrated her 30th birthday on May 13. The family spent the Victoria holiday weekend camping at Ausable Beach. Joe and Martha Risi returned home after a two week trip to Switzerland to visit his relatives and to attend a surprise 60th birth- day party for his sister. Annette Stephan spent the last two weeks visiting with her parents Karl and Mary Regier and family members and went to Singapore to join husband Marc who is working there now.
