ODBERT - Mrs. Hazel Ruby Odbert passed away peacefully at Spruce Lodge, 643 West Gore St., Stratford on Thursday, May 7. 1998 in her 89th year. She was born in Downie Twp, daughter of the late Frederick Morrow and the former Clara Cowan. She and her husband Edward owned and operat- ed Wonderland Grove Roller Rink in Grand Bend for 30 years retiring to Stratford. She was a member of St. Johns United Church, Stratford. Beloved wife of the Tate Edward Alexander Odbert who predeceased her'in 1992. She is survived by a son Donald Odbert and his wife Beverly of Oakville and a daughter Marie Schlotzhauer and her hus- band Bruce of Stratford; grandchildren Kim, Brent and David Odbert and his wife Wendy, all of Oakville, Steven Schlotzhauer and his wife Irene of Guelph and Susanne Schlotzhauer of Stratford and great-grand- children Nastassia, Sarah, Matthew and Darcy. Also survived by sisters-in-law Helen, Gwen and Doris Odbert, Violet Mantle and Kathleen Schagena and a broth- er-in-law Al Schagena. Predeceased by a brother Russell Morrow and his wife Gladys and brothers-in-law Fred. George and Clarence Odbert and Wally Mantle. There will be no funeral home visitation. The funeral service will be held at Spruce Lodge Chapel on Monday, May 11, 1998 at 2 p.m. Rev. Greg White will officiate. Interment will follow in Avondale Cemetery.
