During the company's initial start up, the. founders of Creative Fund- ing Resources Inc. had a lot of sup- port from their friends. .McGowan was especially ap- preciative .of the assistance they re- ceived from friends when they Un- dertook the monumental task oI mailing out 18,000 -cOmpany hro- chures all across North America. McGowan also received guidance from the government • funded Self Employment Assistance Program.• • • "They offer professional seminars four times a year and they set you up. with an advisor to help you along in the right -direction," explained McGowan. FP0m left are Jim Young, Lucan-Biddulph Fire Chief John Riddell, Clarence Haskett and Gary McFalls. , CLASS ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT EXPANSION OF SEWAGE TREATMENT WORKS NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF ENVIRONMENTAL STUDY REPORT The existing Town of Exeter sewage treatment faciiities are hydraulically and organically overloaded. To address this, and to accommodate future development. the town is proposing a project which will increase capacity and provide an upgraded level of treatment. The project involves the expansion of the lagoons onto Lot 25, Conc. 2, Twp. of 'Stephen, Which is immediately' north'of tr)e existing facilities: the deepening of existing Cells 1 and 2, the addition of Intermittent Slow Sand Filters: improvements to the phospnorus removal system and the upgrading of pumps at the main sewage pumping station. The town has planned the project under Schedule C of the Class Environmental Assessment for Municipal Water and Wastewater Project (1993). An Environmental Stuciy Report has been completed and by this Notice is being placed in the public record for review. Subject to comments received as a result of this Notice and the receipt of necessary approvals and.financing. the Town intends to proceed with the construction of the works. The estimated cost is approximately $6,450,000. The Town has requested provincial funding assistance and intends to finance -their share through increased sewage user rates and development contributions and charges.
