DASHWOOD - The parishioners at Zion Lutheran celebrated a joy:' ful Easter w•cek, alter a series of unique Lenten services that looked' •at some of the. cross emblems used ' by Christians over the. years. • On Palm Sunda. the Sunday School students welcomed the -con- gregation by lining the iitain aisle of the church holding paha branch- es. Gaster Sunday began at dawn. with a sunrise service conducted by church youth who told the Easter story. _ - 111is excellent- presentation was followed by a delicious breakfast of pancakes• sausages. and hot cross Nuns served• by the youth- and the elders. The.. congregation's wadi tional Easter celebration ser\ ice was then held amidst beauulu1 bas- kets of -:aster lilies and spring flowers.
