CREDITON - What more do you
need than goodfriends, lots of
food, home baking and a beautiful
selection of auction items to bid
on?
The Crediton Zion Unitcd
Church held its Time and Talent
Auction on the weekend at Stephen
Central School.
With items Trott home made can-
ning and preserves, bird houses
made with love and hard work to
live pigs for sale, the congregation
enjoyed a very successful fundrais-
ing event. '
"We had hoped to raise funds for
the church but at the same time
provide a rewarding and enjoyable
time for everyone attending," stated
Dianne Finkheiner.
These goals were certainly real-
ized with the sounds of laughter
..and bantering between auctioneers
Bob Heywood and Jack Riddell '
nd the crowd.
"Everyone pitched in from the
hurch communityby donating
services and items to the sale.
These were truly appreciated.
Combine these items with all the
hard work by the organizers and the
night was a great success"
Finkbeiner added.
The congregation of Zion United
Church would like to take this
opportunity to thank the purchas-
ers, the auctioneers, the helpers, the
businesses, the church members
and anyone else who helped to
make the Time and Talent auction
sale a huge success.
