Coward. 59 .and grandmother of four. started painting seven years ago after seeing another .Exeter artist's work. A •tour of TimrClark's home and .his paintings sold her on becoming an artist. CoWard said. 'Her chosen medium is water color and her style echoes that of Clark's though she. uses more vibrant colors. •Her paintings arc studies in colors -and lines. though the focus isn't .on detail hueon impression. Subjects range from 11ow- -crs to Iandscapes"'io old barns to front doors of homes to a mennonite and his huggyheading off over the horizon..
