M.C. was Julie Bullivant from CKNX Country Radio. Those doing solos were Megan Hearn, Jenna Becker, Heidi Klopp, Megan Gingerich, Sarah - Rae Lovie, Jenna DeGroot, Maegan Kipfer, Tanya Prang and Julie Hearn. Special guest skaters were the Exeter Juvenile Mini Classics Precision Team. Tuesday was the last day for skating lessons but the annual awards banquet night will he held at the Zurich Community Centre on April 5 in the forum of a family potluck supper at 4:30 p.rn. On April I1 there will he a H.O.M.E. Bursary Ice Show in St. Thomas.- Sarah -Rae Lovie. will he representing the Zurich Club and skater -of -the -year award winner Jenna DcGroot will he there also. The senior students of St. Boniface School are putting on a musical production called Cincnlagic on March 11 to 13, 7:30 p.m. each night. The World Day of Prayer was -held at St.'Peter's Lutheran Church last Friday afternoon. Women from various churches in town took part in the service. The Provincial Auxiliary meet- ing will he held at the Neith-View Home in New Hamburg on April 8 with registration at 9:30 a.m. Thc cost is $9. Women's Institute collecting items for Children's Hospital KIPPEN - Kippen East Women's Institute met at the home of Grace Drummond on Tuesday with Dorothy Bell as co -hostess. Seven members answered the roll call by naming an article in their home that is- Canadian - made. The group began knitting cot- ton dishcloths. Members are to bring items for the Children's Hospital to the next meeting. They are also to wear something green. Ruby Triebncr read a poem and Rena Caldwell gave cour- tesy remarks. Insley provides Friday night entertainment for Queensway Rest Home residents HENSALL - Monday morning Queensway Volunteer Auxiliary met to preview the March calen- dar. On March 12 they will travel to the London Western Fair Farm Show for the afternoon, and in the evening following Senior Diners, Geri Fashions present a Spring Fashion Show. The Hensall Legion Ladies Auxiliary provided assistance and prizes on Monday afternoon. Rev. Dean of Exeter Pentecostal Church led worship service on Tuesday. It was interesting to hear about the Exeter churches ministering at the Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Rev. Dean played the piano and Belva Fuss played the organ. In the evening the Christian Reformed Singers presented a musical program. Several retirement home resi- dents visited during Breakfast Club on Wednesday morning. Edna Dietz assisted. Winnie Hutton, Pastoral Care volunteer, was in Wednesday afternoon to provide visitation and lead in Bible Study. Residents had a lot of fun watching Mr. Bean's antics at Friday afternoon's video presenta- tion.
