The incidence of smoking continues to rise in
China. Of the 300 million males ,aged 0-29, 200
million will become smokers. If they continue to
smoke throughout their life, 100 million will
eventually be killed by tobacco. There were
750,000 deaths from tobacco in China last
year.
Vitamin 0 aids in the absorption of calcium. But there is no ad-
vantage to taking it in the same tablet. Sunlight helps the skin
produce Vitamin D. Combining this with a well-balanced diet will
provide the 400 units per day we require.
The herb echinacea has been proven to stimulate the body's im-
mune system.. However, it should be used intermittently. There is
some evidence that using it continuously will actually suppress
the immune system. Use it on a two weeks on: two weeks off
schedule.
There are many myths out there about herbal remedies. One of
them is 'herbs are not drugs'. Research into the effects of herbs
has proven they certainly are drugs and can have both beneficial
and deleterious effects on the body just like any other drug.

is attached for your information • -
DATED AT THE TOWNSHIP OF TUCKERSMITH -
THIS 25th DAY OF February, 1998.
J.R. McLachlan .
Clerk, Township of Tuckersmith
GMB 117, R.R. #5, -
Clinton, Ont.. - -
NOM 1L0
(519) 482-9523
PURPOSE AND EFFECT
The proposed Zoning By-law Amendment would change the
minimum lot depth in a Village Residential - Low Density (VR1)
zone from 46 -metres (150 feet) to 40 metres (132 feet). This
rezoning would affect all lands in the Township Of Tuckersmith
which are zoned as Village Residential - Low Density (VR1).
The VR1 lands are in the villages and hamlets of Brucefield,
Egmondville, Harpurhey and Kippen and in the area south of
Clinton.
The rezoning is required since many urban Ibts in the original
plans of subdivision are 40 metres or 132 feet in-depth. The
current minimum depth of .46 metres (150 feet) is excessive
-and the change does not reduce -the minimum required lot size.
