Be my icy Valentine. Jennifer and Tim Steele of Dashwood
swept Michele Radzikowskyls tock into the house on Sat-
urday morning at the 28th annual -Valentine's Bonspiel at
the Exeter Curling Club. Club president Cathy Cade said 64
people' dressed, up as famous couples _ for, the bonspiel.
Best costumes went to Susan Cronin as Scarlett O'Hara
and Dale Cronin as Clyde Barker. Games and quiz were
won by Leah Morgan, Pam Sommerville and Maria Kochan.
The TKO pen prize was won 'by Ron Chanyi.,As the tradition
holds, bonus points were given for non curlers. The first
place team winner was Ron and M.J. Chanyi with non curl-
ers,- Ron

Middlesex will be receiving an
additional 52,394,292 to fund high-.
way maintenance and bridge repair.
The.funding is pan of an initiative
to'assist.municipalities with their
• new responsibility for highways
which have been transferred from
provincial to'inunicipal control.
'This initiative will allow
`Middlesex "County to better prepare
for its new-responsibilities;by pro-
viding an additional two years of
financial assistance," stated Mr.
Smith.
On February 19,-1998 Smith Will

officials at 1 p.m.
