Dashwood residents have en- joyed an event -tilled holiday sea- son.. At Calvary. United Church. a congregational family Christmas - turkey dinner was prepared by the ladies'of the church. Games, ti carol sing -a -long, and a duet by Bill'and Jenniki .Hoffman •cnlertained. the congregation. Also.at Calvary, llnit- •ed, advent readings were given by Rosemary. Neeb. The Sunday School children gave. a ,musical Christmas perfor• - mance. Maida and Don Gaisci •\ I. tied with those who could not at- tend and brought cheerful Christ- mas poinsettias. Zion Lutheran Church members were treated to a Christmas pageant put on by the children of the 'con- gregation. The, pageant mixed ele- ments of drama; costumes, and mu- sic with readings -of thc'Christinas story .. After the children's presenta-. tion. the church hosted an Open House where' beautiful. decorations. apple rider, and goodies were en- joyed. by the many present.. • .'
