Planner Dave Pcislil'f explained
his reason behind recomineding t
modified 0S4 zoning. that would
c,'teate a zone called 0S5.:was
to clarify and restrict the definition
not broaden it. The current word-
ing contradicts itself concerning
what is permitted. Under the pro-
posed new zoning, the permitted
uses would include: a public park.

tures accessory to. the permitted

. Councillor Bob Mann made a
recommendation to council that the
land he rezoned 0S5.. noting it
would he subject to site plan and
public input. The recommendation
was carried. A second rec-
ommendation by Councilli)r Barb
Whceldon was that the space he
sealed off. to prevent parking ex-'

top soil he levelled and d grass plant-
ed.
Before. The vacant building on 406 Main Street used to
house the municipal office and council chambers which is
now located at the Olde Town Hall.
After. The town_ and the Exeter Business Association pur-
chased the property with plans to turn,' it into a functional'
green space and parkette. -
