Scot Russell almost went the distance pitching six and one-third innings striking out three batters and walking four. : The 16 hits he allowed couldn't he handled defensively resulting in five unearned runs for Lakeside. Boon took over far the re-• - mainder of the game striking out one batter and allowing one run off three hits. • - Last Tuesday Exeter continued the game they postponed on May 21 agajnst Strathroy but lost 7-4 after allowing four runs in the eighth inning. - Exeter scored one in the ninth hut failed to tic things -up when they stranded runners on all three bases: Dan Masse pitched for Exeter giving up four hits •including a.three-ruirhome run. .
