Angela Higgs and -Jer- ry Ziler teach a group ofstudents about the importance of catapults in Medieval times. The students designed and constructed their own catapults. The "Earthworm" display in the background used computer simulations, real worms and a mealworm cake to help explain the ecological and economic importance of worms. Bryanston Friendship Club holds picnic BRYANSTON - The Bryanston Friendship Club met June 4 at the farm of Elliott and Audrey McRo- berts for a 12:30 p:m: picnic dinner. Buchanan brought her plaque of Senior.of the Year Award to show the group and she thanked everyone for cards" and gifts for her 80th birthday. The group will meet at the church at 1:30 p.m: for their September meeting. The program will be "Sing, Say or Pay" and this will be followed by a barbecue supper. The oldest -father was Carl Banting, the youngest father was Arnold DeLong and -the person with the closest birthday to Father's Day was Elgin Rintoul.
