Centre on Saturday evening, May 24. As the 265 .guests assembled, the Beaudacious Jazz Band of Exeter presented a lively musical concert of "Golden Oldies." They were greeted by Doris Den- ham, NG and Bev Campbell, VG. The hall was decorated with a white backdrop behind the head ta- hle, cream and pink candles, flow- ers and plants on the. tables and at the entry. Grace Ballantyne and. Joyce Morgan looked after ticket pickup while Laura Sillery and Isa Smith conducted'regislration. • Piper tan McCrae led the proces• - sion of dignitaries to the platform. Bev. Campbell extended a welcome . to all and Mary Fisher asked the ., blessing. The only two living charter mem- . hers. Garnet Hicks and Adeline Ford. cut a cake. Following dinner.
