SHIPKA - On May 10, the annu-
al meeting of the Canadiap,,Hafiing-
er Association was held at the Old
School House in Shipka.
There were approximately 60
people present from all across the
province, and from as far away as
Quebec. .
Before the meeting, members of
the C.H.A. attended a barbecue at
Plane Tree Farm. hosted by the
Hayward family. As well as enjoy-
ing locally produced turkey .bur-
gers, members were treated to hay
rides and a dressage demonstration
' by June Turner of Mitchell riding
one of the Plane Tree Hatlingers.

The First Exeter Scouts held a Progression Ceremony at the Exeter
Lions Club Youth Centre last "Monday as members advanced to the
next level. From left, Cub leaders, Dave Beaver, Tom Seip, .and
