'Ode" followed with the roll call as .members paid.their fees. . . - Minutes werciread: and everyone was reminded of District Annual to be held in Seaforth onMay '15 at 6 p.m. All .members were asked to. take a craft to be sold at Elland Home this summer. - .The prizc list of articles for Exet- er fair was discussed. A donation of $25 was given to Siflo-Children's Aid Camp.- • ' Lois McFalls gave a report on the • hoard meeting which was held on April 1 .in Hcnsall. Hurondale . will host Huron South District pic- nic at MpcNaughton Park on July ;6. Crediton W.I. will host the dis- trict .Rally -on October 6. All mem- bers returned their sales of cheese giving the W.I. a profit of. o.ver $300. President Dougall asked 'that all members bring their 7'x8" knitted squares 10 the next meeting as this will be the last shipment. ' . • At 6:00 everyone sat down to a meal served by the committee in charge. The annual meeting began at 7:30 p.m., opening with the Mary Stewart Collect. Doris Denham welcomed 33 Sisters and read a poem "My Mother". • • Flowers were sent to Doug and Norma Parsons for their 50th wed- ding anniversary. A get well card was sent to•Ken Broom.who is now home. Plants and cards were sent to Sis. Elsie Westcott and Sis. Lillian Pym who were in South Huron Hospital, but are now. home. Sis. Mary Thiel has a baby boy. If anyone has 50th anniversary decorations, contact Sis. Mary Fish- er and contact •Sis. Ruby Beaver if you have lodge pictures or memor- abilia to show at the birthday party. Invitations were received from St. Marys for their 43rd birthday on May 15'and from Paisley Memori- al, Ildcrton for PNG, PDDP Night, June 23 and for hot Dog Day June 13. Canadian Memorial Day will be held in Ottawa June 1. A donation. was made.to Children's Aid Socie- ty of Huron County fpr summer camping'. ` , The group is participating in the Town of Exeter "Neighborhood Watch" when they get started At the next meeting they will drape their Charter! - They also plan to join the Oddfel- lows in erecting a memorial plaque at the cemetery. . Elaine Skinner told of a talk with Norma Lindenfield about "Living with Cancer" which meets the first Monday of every month.
