"As Noon as our first truck..ar- rived on. the scene the tank lit up and a big tlame shotout like a ro- man candle." said Pertschy. add- ing the situation would have be- come much more serious if the 1000 gallon diesel fuel tank next to it also became involved.. Firefighters • quickly gained . control of ..the burning tank but had trouble extinguishing the fire. in the. truck because the un- loading mechanists was damaged by the heat.
