Tea Room by the talented Bob Heywood playing some golden oldies on the accordion: The
proceeds from the sale go towards the Resident's Activity Fund.

Rev. MacDonald's'children's sto-
ry' was an object lesson. Each child
was given a straw: Asked to clean
up a pile of-diri. one straw couldn't.
but all together they could.

• This year will be the 50th anni-
versary of Camp Menesetung; one
of the church's mission projects. It
was suggested to bring an offering
of Canadian Tire money for the
carnp to use to purchase supplies.

at the home of Edna Frampton.
The U.C.W. will meet on May 8

favorite hymn from the Red Hym-

Victoria's Diamond Jubilee at a
dessert -concert 'Spring into- Sum-
mer'. 7:30 p.m., May 24 .in the
church sanctuary. -
Vocal solos and choral renditions
of ballads and patriotic songs will
be' accompanied by piano and or-

will be available after the music.

Quiz team wins
BRUCEFIELD - A Youth for
Christ Rally was held at Bruceficld
School, Saturday. May 3.
The Praise Team from Auburn
led in some choruses.
A Bible Quiz from the hook of
Jude was conducted by Rob Stccklc
with two teams participating,.Gode-
nch and Zurich. This was the Iasi
quiff for the season so the trophies
were handed out. The large trophy
Went to the Goderich team who had
the highest score. Small tniphics
were given to each one on the team.
A pla '!ue was also given to the per-
son of each team with the highest
number of quiz points.
Several youth shared the events
of their mission trips.
Charity Herbison told about her
tirne in. St. Vincent in the Caribbe-
an. She said things were quite dif-
ferent there. The people lived in
small huts for houses. She said how
we have so much luxury compared
to them having nothing. We meas-
ure ourselves by the world's stan-
