Jim Clarke. who left us one year ago. Apnl 23. 1996. God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not to be. So He closed His arms around you, And whispered. "Come with Me " A golden heart stopped beating, Your gentle hands at rest• God broke my heart to prove to me, He only takes the best. In tears I saw you sinking, 1 watched you fade away. My heart was almost broken. You fought so hard to stay. But when 1 saw you sleeping, Peacefully and free from pain. I could not wish you back, To suffer that again. The home you left is lonely now. And I am lonely too. So keep Your arms around him Lord. And give him special care Make up for all he suffered, That seems to me unfair, So many times i think of you, So many times I cry. But someday we will meet again. In that island in the sky. Loved and missed by Shirley and family. 17• HATERS - In loving memory of Bill Dat- ers. who passed away Apnl 25. 1987. Three little words, forget me not. It doesn't seem much. but it means.a lot. It's just a remembrance, fond and true, To prove, dear one, we think of you. Sadly missed and always loved, Murray. Lon and Austin. 17x EDWARDS - In loving memory of a dear husband. father, father-in-law and grandfa- ther Melvin (Bob). who passed away five years ago, Apnl' 27. 1992. Silent rnemones keep you near. As time unfolds another year. No longer in our lives to share. But in our hearts you are always there. Lovingly remembered by wife Evelyn. son Leroy, daughter-in-law Cheryl. granddaugh- ters Tara and Amy. 17• EVELAND - In loving memory of our dear mother and grandmother Ruth, who passed away April 26, 1987. Just a memory, fond and true, To show we still remember you. Though ten years have passed away, Still we miss you day by day. Still loved and not forgotten. Larry, Joyce, Christie. Cameron, Cory and Janette. 17• EVELAND - In loving memory of a won- derful mother and grandmother, Ruth, who passed away 10 years ago, Apnl 26, 1987. Ten years have passed since you held my hand, And still today I do not understand, Why God took you from our loving care, Sometimes it seems so unfair. Tears still trickle down my face, As I dream of you in that wonderful place. Not a day goes by without a tear, It's hard to believe it's been ten years. Lovingly remembered and dearly missed, Scott, Karen and girls. 17• RADER - In loving memory of Marion, my wife and companion for over fifty years, who passed away one year ago on April 21, 1996. No one knows the silent heartaches Only those who have loved can tell, The grief 1 bear in silence For the one I loved so well. Gone. but not forgotten, Albert. 17• RADER - In loving memory of Marson, a dear daughter, sister, aunt and great-aunt, July 17, 1931 to April 21. 1996. April has come with sad regrets, The month, the day we'll never forget, No goodbyes and thoughts unknown, But sweet memones of you, we are proud to own. Mom, Shirley and family. I7c STEWART - In loving memory of a dear husband, father and grandpa, Floyd Stewart. who passed away April 29, 1995. We don't forget the way he smiled. The things he used to say, The many things he did for us, In his own loving way. The thoughts we have from day to day, No length of time can take away, For in our thoughts he is always near, Sadly missed and very dear. Always remembered by Margaret and fam- ily. 17* SWARTZ - In loving memory of a dear mother, Lilly Lucretia, who passed away April 25. 1995. The days are gone that we used to share, But in our hearts you will always be there. The gates of our memories will never close. We miss you more than anyone knows. Lovingly remembered by daughter Lois and son-in-law Albert. I7c THOMPSON - In loving memory of a dear husband, father and grandfather. Gerald Thompson. who passed away one year ago, April 26, 1996. It broke our hearts to lose you. but you didn't go alone, For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. There never was a promise that there would be a cure. But little did we realize that the end would be so near. Now I've lost my soul's companion and your family has lost their dad. And all that's left for us now are the memo- ries that we have. My ways are very different now, without you in my life, And though you are no longer here, I'll al- ways be your wife. A thousand prayers won't bung you back, 1 know because I've tned, Neither will a thousand tears, I know because I've cried. So all of you who have a husband, love him while you may, For how i wish with all my heart. that he was here today. Free from suffering and ofpain. Sadly missed by your wife Helen and your family. 17• THOMPSON - In loving memory of a dear father, grandfather. Gerald Leo Thompson, who passed away 1 year ago. April 26, 1996. Little did we know that morning, The sorrow that day would bring, The call was sudden, the shock severe, To part with one we loved so dear. You didn't have time to say farewell, Or for us to say goodbye, You had gone before we realized, And only God knows why_ We think of you in silence, And often speak your name, And all we have are memories, And your picture in a frame. Our hearts still ache with sadness. Our silent tears still flow. For what it meant to lose you, No one will ever know. Sadly missed and always remembered, Bev, Kris, Shawn and Jason. 17c Cards o Thanks ALLEN - We wish to thank everyone who came to our 50th Wedding Anniversary Open House, for the many beautiful cards and gifts received; to our family for all their love, hard work and planning.
