Doubles
championships
set in Ottawa

ZURICH - The Hiram Walker
Special Old National League Exec-
utive and High -Low Doubles
Championships are scheduled to
take place Saturday at Ottawa.
Special Old competition in both
tournaments will be based on five
games, most pins over average to
determine the National champions
who will each win a one week holi-
day trip for two including transpor-
tation and accommodation. Both
tournaments will be conducted un-
der the direction of the Canadian
Five Pin Bowlers' Association.
Provincial championships
The Black Tower Provincial
Team tournament and Black Tower
booster Club Provincial are both
scheduled for May 10 at Oshawa.
The Black Tower Team tournament
will be based on pins over average,
match play, single round robin
competition under the direction of
the Ontario Five, Pin Bowlers' As-
sociation (O.F.P.B.A.).
The Black Tower Provincial
Booster Club champion will have
bowled the most pins over his/her
average upon completion of the
five game competition.
Annual convention
Bluewater Five Pin Association
will be sending four delegates to
the thirty-first annual convention in
June while the Zurich Association
is entitled to send one additional
delegate to represent its members.
Special Provincial awards will be
presented to top executives.
