Exeter soon to have better TV options
EXETER - Television viewers in
Exeter and surrounding areas could•
soiin have • access to more TV
channels at competitive prices once
new wireless cable technology is
introduced in Southern Ontario.
People living outside the reach of
cable or poorly serviced by cable
are not strangers to the challenges
of obtaining quality TV •in their
homes. For years. TV watchers in
certain parts of the province have
had to contend wijh limitevl channel
choice..scratchy sign.t, .. .kpen-
stve satellite dishes. -
But. now. with a new and easy-
to-use wireless cable technology.
this will -soon change. -
Digital Multipoint Distribution
System. (MDS) is the latest broad-
casting option' which will bring a
better choice of TV channels to
Southern Ontario viewers. Known-
as
nownas wireless- cable; MDS pulls sig-
nals from a satellite or off -air, digi-
tizes them.- and then 'sends them
thr, ugh the air to a small antenna at
the ;uhscriber's home.
As this technology has not, been
available. in Ontario.. most consu
mers. however. are. unaware of the
benefit: and affordability of MDS
:technology.'
<>1 -
MDS provides CD -like sound,
high-resolution images and, most
importantly, expanded. channel ca-
pacity - more than most cable com-
panies offer. In addition, this wire- -
less cahle offers flexible - pricing,
Internet access; and local television
programming not available by sat-
ellite/Direct-to-Home technology .
(DTH).

Look TV . "
In its hid to be the provider of the
new technology in Southern Onta-
rio. a group of industry leaders

would;
• Cover more than. 96 per cent of

FASHIONABLE DESIGN FOR SLOPING LOT
The garage has been dropped on this plan so that it will suit a lot with a fairly pronounced
slope from the rear of the lot down to the front.
Vertical batten siding combined with stone facing, a multi-level roof design with gables. and a
raised front entry ensure "curb appeal" in the most contemporary style subdivisions. •
Enter into a foyer brightened by an overhead window. Four risers lead to the main foyer.
Decorative columns frame the entrance to the living room which features.a 10'8- ceiling
height. An open plan for the living and dining room creates a spacious atmosphere for
entertaining. A gourmet style kitchen features an efficient 'U" shaped working area complete
with plenty of cupboard and counter space, a pantry. and a work island. The family room is a
good size, and. open to the kitchen area, offers a comfortable area for informal gathenngs.
The den. set apart from the main living area provides a quiet retreat for study or perhaps a
guest bedroom. .
Upstairs. a deluxe master bedroom features a five ensuite with a boxed out swirl tub. a large
wa/k•in closet, and a sitting area.
An unfinished basement awaits your own creative touch.
-Plans for U-974 may be obtained for $495.00 for a package of five complete sets of working
prints arid 545.00 for each additional set of the same plan. Allow $15.00 extra to cover the
cost of postage and handling (8.C. residents add applicable sales tax to plan total). (All
Canadian residents add 7% GST to plan total plus postage and handling.)
This is one of our new designs. Many innovative plans are now available in our home plan
catalogue for $13.85 including postage and handling and 7% GST.
