CAS who died in Ontario in 1994 and 1995 did so as a result of natural. causes -or accident; according to an interim report released by the Ontario' Child Mortality Task Force. Twelve• of those 100 were re- ported as' homicides and 31 were in foster homes under the careof the CAS. None -;ol' the murdered children listed in the report were in foster homes.
