.floor and on their clothing. and thc gymcleared faster than if the fire
alarm had sounded. iI Was the case of the escaping sc(ence project. one
of the more memorable science fair exhibits -over the years. -
''I'is the season for science lairs. It's one sure sign ofspring.
A couple of Ie.e111 1:111 brought to mind nenmiries of similar events
hack in the middle ages. eons befrre. the Internet, when students had to
research their projects al the/public library rather than in the comfort

They are comfortable enough with the scientific principles, not to
mention public speaking. to explain the details of their experiment to

science and technology. Their creativity, confidence and knowledge is
impressive, and they are excited about what they arc doing.

Lucan passed By -Law 08-97 on the 25th day of March, 1997 under
Section 34 of the PLANNING ACT R.S.O. 1990. ,

AND TAKE NOTICE that any,person or agency may appeal to the •
(ntario•Municipal Board ih respect of the by-law by filing with th'e
Clerk of the VILLAGE OF LUCAN not laterthan 22nd day of April,
1997 a notice of appeal setting out the objection(s) to the by-law
and the reasons in support of the objection(s). Only individuals,
corporations and public bodies may appeal a zoning by-law to the
'Ontario Municipal Board. A notice of appeal may not 6e filed by an
unincorporated association or group. However, a notice of appeal
may be filed in the name of an individual who is a member -of the
association or the group'.
BY-LAW 08-97 rezones land described as Part Lot 5, South Part of
!London Road in the Village of Lucan. This land -is located at the •
north end -of Kleinfeldt Avenue and is shown -on the map below.
THE PURPOSE of the zoning bylaw Amendment is to rezone the
subject property from Development (D) Zone to Residential Zone 1
Exception 29 (R.1-29) to allow construction of accessory uses
(including a shed) on the subject lands in conjunction with the '
residential uses. The subject lands are to be merged with the
adjacent existing lot as a lot addition; as a result of a concurrent
consent application.
THE COMPLETE by-law is available for inspection in the Office -of the
Clerk luring regular business hours.
