After the' service' they enjoyed
Easter Brunch and a time of fellow-
ship. They sang "Happy Birthday"
to Viola Atkinson- '
Harley and Travis Davis assisted
in the cleaning of the church and
Parish Hall and gathered fallen tree
branches on Friday..
St. Patrick's will celebrate an
Evening Prayer service on April 5
at 6:30 p.m.
On April 13, -Rev. Jay will be at
• St. Patrick's to celebrate the Holy
Eucharist.
Rcv. Jay visited on Sunday with
Mary Davis. who has been ill and
staying with the Tindalls. He cele-
. brated the Holy Eucharist with
Mary. Hugh Davis. Alexia Tindall
anti Marylou Rumleski. -
Linda Durnin and Lucas were
tot ernight visitors with the MacGil-
IR rays on the weekend.
Ron and Margaret Carroll cele-
brated Easter Sunday evening din-
ner with daughter Brenda and fami-
ly'of Exeter.
Starr Davis was visiting in Lon-
don on the weekend with her aunt
and uncle. Donna and Mike Mar-
tin. and Michelle and Jerrett.

Bluewater bowlers perform well
in Ontario Open tournament

HAMILTON - Bluewater Associ-
• ation's Chad Wilding and Karen
Rave performed well to make. the,
cut at the end of the first five game
qualifying rolloff of the 33rd Onta-
rio Open Singles Championships at
Hamilton Wednesday. and ad-
vanccd to thc final five. _games
.Thursday. Wilding finished 16th' in
a field of 60 Ontario top bowlers
with a " 10 game .total •pinfall of
2,565 (a 256 per game average) in
the men's division while Rave fin
ished 24th in the ladies division,
. with a 2,400. pinfall -(a 240 per
game average).
The new Ontario Open -Singles
ladies and men's champions upon
'completion of the top five, match
play, single knockout, •stepladder
playoffs will each receive $1,000
cash from the Sidney L. Morris
Awards. - -

and top lady qualifier from each of
the 20 zones across the province.
O.F.P.B.A. provided 10 judges of
play to enforce Canadian 5 Pin
Bowlers' Association rules.
