We all know that exercise is good for us. Often, how-
ever. we do rt because we have to and not because
we want to or like to. It's important to choose an ex-
ercise that is fun so you will continue to do it. Some
People flake walking more tun by listening to taped
books as they walk. Try it!

We are being asked about the link between diabetes and the mineral chromium.
Researchers claim that chromium lowers blood sugar and cholesterol levels in
Type 2 diabetics. However the doses being studied are quite a bit higher than
normal. So it's a bit too early to jump on the chromium bandwagon yet. But it
does show promise.
Carob is often chosen as a alternative to chocolate. Read the fine print on ca-
rob products because they may contain more saturated fats tin the form of
Palm -kernel oil) than real chocolate. As we keep mentioning in this column,
moderation inall eat and drink is the key tc a healthy lifestyle.
