The rationale for this decision, as
laid out in a motion. is that "since it
is no longer a Board of Manage-
ment, then the committee should
find its own represc ..rives from
.h • local areas."
Council also accepted the 1997
Exeter and Arca Fire Board budget
as presented.
In other business. council passed
a motion to charge the municipali-
ty's $6 cost of hluc box replace-
ment to residents unless a broken
blue box is returned to the town-
ship office for exchange. Broken
blue boxes will be replaced at no
charge.
Council approved the payment of
the 1997 Upper Thames River Con-
servation Authority levy in the
amount of $617.
Council also authorized the clerk
to sign the statutory declaration
stating the roadway between Lots
2 and 3. Concession 11 and Lot 3
Concession 11 and Lot 13 South-
east Boundary Concession is a pub-
lic highway.
The purchaser of the Rundle

cation that the road is owned•attd
maintained by the municipollty..
An old bylaw found by office staff
indicates the township authorized
construction of the road. •
