ing what they had accomplished
with a Women's institute Lifeskill.
The minutes of the first meeting of
the Stoney Creek Women's Insti-
tute were read and Doris Spencc
led some singing. A quiz on the
Women's Institute was answered
by members and a skit "Did you
know?" was given by members of
Glen Gowrie • institute. Following
the meeting. there was time to look
at history books and displays and
enjoy refreshments and good fel-
lowship.

ing that thc 50th anniversary of

HENSALL - , Residents -at
Queensway Nursing Home are ask-
ing assistance with- a project they'
are beginning. At Small Group Dis-
cussion residents were reminiscing
about the time when everyone had
an autograph hook where favorite
people would write their auto --
graphs. They. arc starting a scrap -
'hook at Queensway and would wel-
come any submissions you could
send them.
The residents are enjoying assis-
tance and prizes. provided .by •Kip -
pen United Church Women at Bin-
go ;. games each Monday - in
February.
Tuesday's church service became
a time of sharing favorite scripture
verses and hymn singing when the
pastor was unable to come. ' -
Gladys and. Her Merry 'Makers
led residents in an afternoon of
dancing. handclapping and toe. tap-
ping music. • .
- Friday m'orning,.: -residents dili-
gently worked out- at Fun and Fit-
ness;: as they 00 three • mornings
each week. In the afternoon there
was a gond turnout for the_.Rcadcrs
Digest video. Great Hunts. It was
all about: the struggle to survive in.
the animal kingdom and the deli-
cate balance of nature.
In the evening. Doug Insley .and
Doug Stephens of Exeter provided
an .evening of music' at Friendship
