Gallery opens at Children's Centre
LONDON. - For the first time in
seven Years, the London Regional
Children's Museum will 'celebrate
the grand opening of 8 major new
gallery. .
Together with 3M, the Children's
Museum will- officially open the
3M Science In Your World Gallery
at a celebration set for Tuesday.
January 14. Following the official
celebration, the gallery will open to
the ,general' public • during regular
• museum hours beginning Wednes-
- day, January 15.
"Our visitors have been eagerly
anticipating the opening of this gal-
lery, and we think. they will he very
happy with the results," says Leigh-
Anne Stradeski the Children's Mu-
seum ' executive 'director. "It's a
bright: colorful, active gallery -and
there arc so many things that chil-
dren can -learn about science b‘ ex-
ploring
x-ploring .the backyard arid kitchen
• exhibits.". •
• The new -gallery einphasized edu-
cational .tun. it includes a backyard
. exhibit featuring a replica of 'a
ver maple tree, a treehouse, a ,gar=
dept and a .pond. As. well, the gal -
Spry. features, a - kitchen exhibit
complete with .food,_ ene'rgy and
plumbing displays.'Within the next
veae.a tiealth exhibit will also he

ing Association (OTA), says it and
