CDCS students remember war CLINTON - Students at the Clin- ton and District Christian School (CDCS) took the opportunity this week to remember the sacrifices of Canadian soldiers during the wars. On Monday, November 11, the students from Grades 4 and 8 at- tended the services at the Clinton Cenotaph. The rest of the students held a Remembrance Day assembly in the school gym. Both the teach- ers and the students participated. Parents and grandparents were in- vited to attend. Many students had participated earlier in the Royal Ca- nadian Legion poetry, essay and poster contest. They are eagerly awaiting the results. Mr. Bos expressed his apprecia- tion on behalf of the staff and the students of CDCS for the Legion personnel. "These men and women help us each year to remember both the horrors of war and the blessings of peace. A fairly large percentage or our children continue to come from homes where, if not the par- ents, then the grandparents actually experienced war in their own coun- try. These grandparents remember, gratefully, the Canadian soldiers OMyKNO 4.sgcbic 5 oeding3 4 kPsychometry Palm Readings Stars & Numbers Life Readings Your Year Ahead Personal Private Readings Taped Card Readings Career - Love - Money FOR YOUR HOME PARTIES OR A PRIVATE READING CALL GORD COOPER (519) 451-9641 Mon. to Fri. 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. W\...(Strictly for entertainment purposes) %J qJ Friday November 15 B.W.
