Association member Ralph Koop-
mans from the town and Country
men's league received a special
Ontario Five Pin Bowlers' Associa-
tion (O.F.P.B.A.) Record Score
Award Tuesday form Zurich Asso-
ciation President Ron Dann. During
the 1995-96 season Koopmans had
bowled an O.F.P.B.A. Class three
(186-205 average) record 425 high
single game in the men's league.

Bluewater Youth Challenge
The five game Bluewater Zone T
qualifying round of the O.F.P.B.A.
Youth Challenge will be bowled at
11 a.m. Sunday at Molesworth
Lanes. All the 13-18 year old bowl-
ers will be competing for a position
on the Bluewater men's ladies and
mixed teams to advance to the
O.F.P.B.A. six game regional roll -
offs January 12 at Goderich Little
Bowl.

Awards are now available at all
bowling centres in the Bluewater 5
Pin Bowlers' Association area.
Dates for the 20 game Bluewater
Zone rolloffs are December 1 and 8

onships March 26-29 at Hamilton.

games of 170, 282 and 253 for a
three game 705 score in the Satur-
day Youth Bowling league at Zu-
rich Town and Country Lanes.

LUCAN - The Hiram Walker's
Special Old National League Exec-
utive tournament was held Sunday
at Lucan Lanes. This tournament
involves the president, secretary
and treasurer of each league and
has a pins over average format. The
winner of each category will ad-
vance to a Provincial final in Lon-
don on January 25, 1997. They are
also invited to attend a "Welcome
Reception" on the Friday night at
the Radisson Hotel, London Centre.
The winners are as follows: presi-
dent - Mike Daubs with a +50, sec-
retary - Tina Riley +164 and treas-
urer - Dennis Daubs at +105.
High low doubles
The league round of the Hiram
Walker's Special Old high low
doubles is well underway. This
tournament runs for five weeks
with the winners from each league
advancing to a zone round on Janu-
ary 5 at Lucan lanes.
YBC notes
On November 16, Lucan will be
the site for the YBC Combo house
round. This tournament is a team
event involving a team of boys and
a team of girls comprised of one
Bantam, one Junior and one Senior
age bowlers. This will be a team
pins over average tournament with
each winning boys team and girls
