Quiz
conducted at
youth rally
BRUCEFIELD - There was a
good crowd of young people at the
November Youth for Christ Rally
held recently.
Two teams, from Zurich and
Goderich, participated in the Bible
Quiz taken from James 1:19 to
2:13. 7
The rally featured a group of
young people, church members and
the Box Redeemer College Praise
Band from Ancaster. Everyone
joined in the worship as the band
led them.
One of the band members, Scott,
gave his testimony. He had gone to
church all his life, but wasn't really
living like a Christian should. One
day a non-Christian friend of his
challenged him and said "I don't
see how you are different." That
made him think about what kind of
a light he was. He challenged the
audience to stand out as bright
lights.
One of the girls read a poem "A
Prayer for the Young and Lovely".
The next rally will be in the form
of a coffee house with "Kindred
Spirit" from Kitchener performing.
All youth are invited.
