Truck sad tools stolen
A 1986 Dodge van, licence
6422AJ, containing approximately
$10,000 worth of tools was stolen
from the Grand Bend Motorplex.
The van was white and contained
assorted tools including cordless
drills, electrical saws, and pipe fit-
ting equipment. There was also a 32
foot aluminum ladder on top of the
truck. The theft took place on Octo-
ber 15, 1996.

Robbery
On October 15, 1996 at 1:25 p.m.
a white male youth approximately
19 years old entered the Payne
General Store at 143 Main Street in
Exeter. He asked for a pack of cig-
arettes and when the till was
opened attempted to reach in and
vab the money. He was unsuccess-
ful and ran out of the store. Suspect
described as white male, medium
build, blond hair, clean looking,
5'8" - 5'10", wearing a 3/4 length
black or dark blue coat with two 1"
horizontal stripes across the coat.
Break and enter
The Book Store at 114 Queen
Street in Blyth was broken into
some time between 5:30 p.m. Octo-
ber 12 and 8 a.m.October 14,
1996. The thieves entered the store
and stole computer equipment. The
stolen property included a Pentium,
model 75 multi and Canon, model
BJ -200.
