TOWN OF EXETER CLASS ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT
UPGRADING AND EXPANSION OF SEWAGE TREATMENT
WORKS
NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
ThetTown has been evaluating alternative ways to expand the
sewage treatment facility to service existing and future
development. At this time, the preferred solution is to change
the treatment process by the addition of slow sand filters to the
existing lagoon system. This will improve final effluent quality
prior to discharge and increase the treatment capacity of the
facility. Additional lands are required to accommodate the
expansion. The possibility of accepting sewage from Huron Park
In Stephen Township Is being considered.
This project is being planned as a Schedule "C" protect under
the Class Environmental Assessment for Municipal Water and
Wastewater Protects June 1993. A Public Information session

if your goal is to burn calories, the best exer-
cise machine is a motorized treadmill. A recent
Chicago study tested various exercise ma-
chines including a cross-country ski simulator,
stationary bicycle, stair stepper and rowing ma-
chine, and found that the treadmill worked best
to burn off calories.
The first human transplant of an organ from a live donor occurred in
Paris, France in 1953. It was a kidney from a mother to a son. The kid-
ney functioned normally for 3 weeks but the patients body rejected the
kidney and he died.
One of the most common side effects seniors experience from drugs is
dizziness. Drugs treating the heart, blood pressure and angina can pro-
duce this side effect. If you take these types of medication, be aware
of this side effect when you are walking any distance.
The flu season is coming. Those who should have a flu shot include
those over 65, those of all ages who have heart or lung conditions,
and those with disease states like diabetes, cancer renal disease,
anemia. Remember, a flu shot won't give you the flu. If you are allergic
to eggs, you should not have the shot since the virus used to make the
vaccine is grown in eggs.
