Many thanks are extended to Bob Heywood for his renditions of many old favorite tunes and hymns. His songs were well received by all in attendance. Well over a hundred people enjoyed the music, the fel- lowship. the tea and delicious squares. Special thanks to Joanne Hayman and June Hodgson who as- sisted the volunteers and Kim: On Tuesday September 17. four cars carrying eleven residents set out for a pleasant drive with a stop at Millington's of Brucetiield for tea and fresh tea biscuits with jam or honey. Again this month residents were entertained by several groups of musicians. They welcomed Jack Wills and band, Lloyd Thompson. Charterways Transportation Ltd., generously do- rated the bus for this trip. Driver Harvey Smith and the Exeter Lion- ess volunteers also assisted with the outing. `twenty-five residents were their guests. A fashion show featuring cloth- ing from J.B.S. fashions was held on Friday September 27. Games, bingo, baking and week- ly sing songs rounded out a very busy month for residents. A quantity of cash was taken and a vehicle stolen from London was witnessed at the scene. The same vehicle was also seen at similar break and enters in Clinton, Lucan and St. Marys.
