Crediton East, Crediton West, no it's at the Wuerth's Nest. Grandmas's there first with Aunt Velma right behind. Meanwhile the Wuerth's are scrambling to get the place in line. Here comes Aunt Eveleen and Aunt Labelle too. Right behind them, comes the rest of their crew. When everyone arrived the place was just a buzzing, With Aunts, and Uncles and a whole lot of cousins. Aunt Shirley was squirrely when the games all began. We knew by her voice she was the one in command. With a variety of games for the young and the old. Diane was the best opponent, even though she got soiled. With balls and shoes a flying and bubbles being blown, It took Craig's skis to get their talents shown. After the first one fell, the whole gang went down Henny beneath, with Aunt Marion homeward bound. Who wants some candy? It's for the kids Andy, Under the trees, behind the shed, okay now look in the flower bed. Balloons are next, of course filled with water. Grandma didn't play, but we certainly got her. Here comes the food. Dig in be happy. The dogs art a coming so hurry be snappy. With everyone full right up to the brim, A picnic's no place when you're trying to keep slim. Cousin Jim wants to know "is the picnic still a -go. For the second Sunday in July as another year by." "Yes", we'll find a park for that Hill picnic crew. We'll all stick together no matter what we do! Written by cousins Glenda and Shannon Wuerth 1.
