There are many sun -blocker lipsticks and lip -balms... coloured or clear, that will do a good job. Speaking of sunscreens, remember to apply It at least one hour before exposure to the sun for best protection. There is a class of laxatives called "stool softeners". Unlike other laxa- tives, they do not ,stimulate the bowel to move. Their primary action is to prevent constipation so should be taken on a routine basis. The name Docusate is the prime example of this group. Keeping drugs out of reach of children is always sound advice. One medication that gets a lot of attention from little klds is the birth control pill. Attracted by the fancy packaging and because they see Mom taking them all the time, kids often think they are candy. In these fast -paced, mechanized -and computerized times, it's nice to know you can drop Into your neighbourhood pharmacy and speak to a pharmacist in person. It's a good feeling for us, too. It makes for great communication. Ht nn Apothecary Ltd.
