I Bus trip enjoyed to Aylmer
The Kirkton Horticul-
tural Society visited
Aylmer Market and
then went to a dinner
theatre.
By Muriel Lewis
GRANTON - Members from
Granton enjoyed the Kirkton Horti-
cultural Society's bus trip with
McNaughton Tours on May 31 to

Pete's dinner theatre.
The Anglican parish bible study
group met at the Rectory in Kirkton
on June 1.
There was no service at the St.
Thomas' Anglican Church on Sun-
day, June 5 because of the Anniver-
sary service at St. Paul's in Kirk -
ton.
Rev. Stephen Emery enlarged his
message on the text 'Whoever blas-
phemes against the Holy Spirit can
never be forgiven'. In essence, a
disposition that is not even open to
the Spirit of God, clings to power,
prestige, control, etc. but the Love
of God lasts forever.
The lessons were read by Hilary
Hardeman and David Blackler and
an anthem was sung by the choir.
The flowers at the altar were given
in memory of the Humphreys by
Jean Mills and Helen Shute.
A Lectern Bible and portable
Communion Set were dedicated in
memory of the Howe family.
At the Granton United Church on
Sunday, Pastor Normalie Voakes
entitled her sermon 'Copy -Cats'
