TIRE 84( AUTO
NOT YOUR AVERAGE TIRE BUSINESS
RR 15, Clinton 482.3752
on Hwy. 14 South
With summer arriving many people make the major decision to ei-
ther buy a new car or have the existing model upkept. After a win-
ter of snowbank bashing; pot -holed roads; fluctuating tempera-
tures; salt strewn highways and less visual attention, new tires
should be a major consideration to improve your ride.
To optimize tire mileage on front -wheel drive vehicles, it may be
necessary to rotate tires before the general recommended 9,600 kil-
ometre initial rotation time. All season tires used on front -wheel
positions of any automobile or light truck may develop irregular
wear due to side slip that occurs during driving.
The increased number of grooves and tread -block angles on
many of the all -season tires allpw for better drainage (hydroplan-
ing resistance).

TOSHIBA

BOB AND BETTY'S VARIETY & GIFT'S is to be credited for
informing the community about new home viewing electronic in-
novations through advertisingand word of mouth. Many new tele-
vision buyers are aware of tMTS stereo sound, remote control,
programmable channel scan control and reliant chassis. However,
every year manufacturer such as TOSHIBA are improving their
products with higher resolution picture tubes with a square picture
for better use of screen space. Some manufactures also incorporate
on-screen menu display, and picture in a picture featureswhich al-
lows you to watch a main program as well as a framed insert of a
secondary program.
Likewise VCR's now are more compact in size, have tape search
and multi speed slow motion features, and stereo output jacks so
you can expuience that "Movie Theatre" stereo sound going
lfwough your home stereo system. With the variety of models
available at BOB & BETTY'S you can choose a VCR or televi-
sion with the features that you desire for the ultimate in controlled
home entertainment at various price levels.
Throughout the 26 that Bob and Betty's Variety and Gilt
Store has been in business, its concept has changed many times. 1t
started as a convenience store, with milk, bakery products and gro-
ceries. In 1969 Bob and Betty Beuttenmllkr bought the store that
currently houses their business, and in 1972 enlarged it to three
times its original size. That was done by expanding into the doc-
ton' offices previously located at the rear of the building.
In 1977 Bob and Betty's took on the Radio Shack Electronic line,
and in the process started to phase out such convenience store
items as and bakery products. In 1979 all groceries were
g$neanand ly milk and is oeeam remained.
As elecronics pew bigger, the business took on the Toshiba line
to go along with Radio Shack. Toshiba is big in televisions and
VCRs. In 1989 as more space was needed, milk and ice cream
were eliminated from the product line, and the whole back end of
the atom was converted into electronics.
In April 1991, more changes were made to acconmtodate a larger
ling of Hallmark products. They are also a total Lotto centre.

People who are actively involved in the trucking industry are fully
aware of the improvements which have developed in diesel trucks
over the years. For the independent trucker or fleet manager look-
ing for a new truck and making comparisons, the differences be-
tween quality or options available from each manufacturer is al-
most negligible.
The management at BLUEWATER TRUCK CENTRE does
believe that they offer a well -engineered product, but they also
know that a comparable product can be found at other dealers
across Canada. They realize that there has to be difference with
them in order for you to become one of their customers.

their reputation around the calibre of service rendered. Their phi-
losophy is to extend your satisfaction as a customer beyond the ini-

DonUT
CAPE
Always Flesh - Always Fnondly,
89 ALBERT STREET CLINTON (adjacent to Target)
482-1486
To be successful in the very competitive donut shop field, one
must implement certain factors to ensure the company's existence.
Some factors that we look for in such a business include a varied
selection of donuts to favour everyone's tastes, and they must have
been baked fresh that day. From 7 to 9 a.m. seems to be one of the
busiest times for donut and coffee shops, so fast service from the
staff is essential in order for the customer to maintain his or her
busy schedule. Finally, the coffee, which is often labelled as the oil
that makes the Canadian brain run smoothly, should always be just
brewed and served piping hot. MRS. D'S DONUT CAFE has ca-
tered to these requirements, and is the ideal place for you to meet
your friends and for fast- take-out while on the go.
A donut shop certainly offers you less than most convenience
shops and grocery stores. You get less additives and less preserva-
tives to prolong shelf life, and you also get less elaborate packag-
ing to drive up costs. What you get more if is wholesale baked
goods produced with the finest ingredients and often with proven
recipes which aren't found in baking books.
The bakers at MRS. D's are working while most of us are still
'sleeping each morning so that the freshest possible goods are avail-
able each and every day.
MRS. D's DONUT CAFE opened for business on April 13,
1994 and is locally owned by NELLIE and BERT DYKSTRA.
You can join the group of regulars who stop in daily to enjoy the
finest cup of coffee anywhere and try their fresh and delicious do-
nuts.
We refer and recommend MRS. D's DONUT CAFE whose
products and smiling attentive service of the staff will have you
coming back regularly.

MORGAN'S MOBILE HOMES

ALWAYS A GOOD CHOICE
343 Victoria St., Clinton 482-7066
Mention modular homes, and you're more than likely to stir up im-
ages of glorified mobile homes. But modular no longer means the
boxy clunkers that represented the early days of the industry.
Modular homes have come a long way in the three decades since
their introduction, even if consumer perception of them has not. In
essence, a modular is an entire house that has been constructed in a
factory in modules, one piece, for example, could be the down-
stairs of a colonial -style house and the other module the upstairs
area. Those modules arrive at the owner's chosen site on flatbed
trucks and assembled on site. typically in a few days.
An added benefit of this type of factory -built home, is consistent
quality and faster delivery of a finished product, because weather
and scheduling delays are eliminated. The materials - lumber. win-
dows, roof shingles and construction are the same as those used in
site -built homes, but because of quality control at the factory, the
end result is more consistent.
Established since 1967 the business is guided by owner DOUG
MORGAN who can take the time to match a unit for your lifestyle
and within your price range. as well as providing service to back
up their sales.
Featured here is a nice selection of GENERAL mobile homes up
to 72 ft. x 16 ft.
They also feature PARKLAND HOMES which are modular
homes made in Wingham, plus GENERAL modular homes.
These homes are pre -fabricated and meet all building codes and
ire R-2000 rated.
We suggest you stop into MORGAN'S MOBILE HOMES &
MODULAR HOUSING and see what they have to offer you and
your family.
