KNOWLES - Mr. Grant Knowles, beloved
husband of Tillie Knowles of Redcliff, Al-
berta, passed away at the Medicine Hat Re-
gional Hospital on May 10. 1994 at the age
of 63 years. Besides his loving wife. Grant is
survived by two daughters, Lynn of Kincar-
dine, Ontario, Alana of Lethbridge, Alberta,
two grandchildren. Jackie Spencely and Dy-
lan Rushford. He is also survived by two
brothers, Franklin Knowles. Bill (Phyllis/
Knowles. all of Vancouver, B.C., two sis-
ters, Mary (Jack) Munro of London, Onta-
rio, Anna (Nets) Waterland of Ingersoll, On-
tario, one sister-in-law. Kay Stark of St
Marys, Ontario, nieces and nephews. Barbie
and Sharon Munro, Darcy and Shelley
Knowles, parents-in-law, Dan and Emily
Paul of Medicine Hat, two sisters-in-law,
Michelle Paul of Calgary. Betty Straub of
Medicine Hat, two brothers-in-law, Ben
Paul of Medicine Hat and Pete Paul of Ver-
non, B.C. He was predeceased by his par-
ents, Ernest and Rebecca Knowles, his
brother Stan Knowles, as well as two broth-
ers in infancy, and one sister-in-law, Dolores
Stern. A private family graveside service
was held in Medicine Hat, Alberta May 12,
1994 at 3:00 p.m. if friends so desire, me-
morial tributes may be made directly to the
Canadian Cancer Society, 631 Prospect

day, May 22, 1994, Elva Bernice (Turnbull)
Lamport of RR #2. Crediton, in her 77th
year. Beloved wife of Lloyd S. Lamport

port of RR #2, Crediton. Dear grandma of
Gerald. Joelle and Christine. Loved sister
and sister-in-law of Jack Turnbull of Som -
bra, Fred and Judy Turnbull of New Or-
leans, Louisiana, and Anne Turnbull of Wi-
anon. Predeceased by her brother, Dr
Robert Turnbull (1992) and her parents.

sister -in -taw of Zella Vaughan of Long

tion on Tuesday afternoon and evening;

Miller McKnight of Hensall in his 90th year_
Belovedhusband of Pearl (Pepper)
McKnight, the late Grace Gliddon and the
late Vi Belling. Dear father of John and his
wife Raye of Ottawa and Mary and her hus-
band Donald Gravett of Hanover. Dear
brother of Leonard of Exeter. and Isabel and
her husband Lloyd Batkin of Clinton. Also
survived by five grandchildren and 4 great-
grandchildren and several nieces and neph-
ews. Visitation was held at the Hensall
Chapel, 120 King St., Hensall on Monday.
Funeral Service was held in the chapel on
Tuesday. May 24. 1994 at 1:30 p.m. with the
Reverend Henry Annen officiating. Inter-
ment Clinton Cemetery. Oddfellows No. 67
conducted a service in the funeral home
Monday evening. As expressions of sympa-
thy donations to the Hensall United Church
