Centralia U.C. planning food booth at air show By Mary Peterson CENTRALIA - Several members of the Centralia congregation par- ticipated in the special joint service at Thames Road United Church on Sunday. Becky Harrett read the gospel scripture. Roger McComb kept the congregation's interest with his sermon entitled "Getting Off Your Donkey". A Steering Committee from sev- eral local United churches orga- nized the scrvicc and many people took part in the scrvicc. Planning continues for the food booth at the Grand Bend air show. The Stewards will meet at 7:30 p.m. at Rob Essery's on Wednes- day. Volunteers for the booth are asked to sign up at the bulletin board in the church. Many volun- tccrs will be needed to help on May 27, 28 and 29. On May 22, the Centralia and Zion West congregations will say thank you and farewell to Rev. Clare Geddes and Rcv. Peggy Campbell -Geddes at a social hour following the service. Centralia will supply sandwiches and Zion West will bring dessert. Also on May 22 a short congre- gational meeting will follow the scrvicc to vote on the Memorial Fund projects.
