Kite Day for
Huron county
families
GODERICH - In honour of the
International Year of the Family
and Canada's Fit Week 1994, the
Goderich Recreation Board and the
Children's Aid Society of Huron
County are sponsoring a Family
Kite Day.
On Sunday, May 29 it will be
held at the G.D.C.I. playing field at
the corner of Eldon and Bennett
Streets in Goderich.
Between the hours of 11 a.m. and
3:00 p.m. bring your whole family
out for a fun filled day of kite fly-
ing and demonstrations. Experts
from Tail Spin Kites of Mitchell
will provide instruction in kite fly-
ing and help participants to make
their own kite from materials avail-
able at the 'Fly'.
Kite flying demonstrations will
be at 1 and 2 p.m. A kite making
program will be run between 11:00
and 12:30 p.m. For only $I.00 you
can make your own kite so you too
can experience the fun of 'flying
with the breeze'.
"Our plan is to have enough ma-
terials to make 100 kites, at a cost
of $1.00 each. If people arc inter-
ested in attending and making a
kite it would he helpful if they
would pre -register by calling 524-
2125. We want to make sure we
have sufficient materials on hand
so no one is disappointed." says
Jane Dawson of the Goderich Rec-
reation Board.
"Thc Children's Aid Society is
pleased to be able to co-sponsor
this event for the families of Huron
County. It is one of our ways to en-
courage family health and happi- I ,
ness and give something hack to
our community," says Suc Mun-
noch, Community Relations repre-
sentative for the agency. "We hope
to see people from all over the
county out on the 291h."

NATURALLY CHEMICAL
Many consumers are sometimes confused by the terms natural and chemical
when it comes to choosing lawn fertilizer. The term chemical fertilizer does
not necessarily mean that the product was created in a laboratory, but rather
part of natures own chemical process. Mother Nature is the most reliable sup-
plier of modem fertilizers. While sources vary, the nutrients themselves re-
main chemically natural. In other words, similar as nutrients from animal ma-
nure. Only its origin may be considered different, such as the case with
manure. Weed Man fertilizers are natural in their origin, meaning they are de-
rived from common occurring eieuieiits ii Giir environment.
The fact is that a nutrient is a nutrient, as they behave identical in nature, re-
gardless of their source.
