Connie Masse and Arlene Bryson
led the Monday league ladies team
"The Frisky Five" to victory with
122 and 99 pins over their respec-
tive averages in the house round of
the Zurich Association Black Tow-
er Team Tournament S „"y at
Town and Country Lanes.
Carol Prang, Petra O'Neal, Barb
Reschke and Natalie Mason added
pluses of 48, 30, 3 and minus 32 re-
spectively as the "Frisky Five"
edged the Tuesday League "Hen-
sall Boomers" by just seven pins,
plus 270 to plus 263.
Darren Keyes, Jim Smith and
Don Kirk bowled plus 135, plus
135 and plus 31 respectively while
Mike Lebold, Pete Bedard Jr. and
Doug Smith Jr. added minuses of 1,
7 and 30 as the Boomers came so
close to the Black Tower House ti-
tle.
Eleven Zurich Association teams
participated in the three game, pins
over average, Black Tower house
rolloff and the new Black Tower
Champion Frisky Five team now
advances to the round-robin, match
play, pins over average Black Tow-
er Regional rolloffs April 24 in an
Ontario Five Pin Bowlers' Associa-
tion (O.F.P.B.A.) designated loca-
tion leading to the Black Tower
Provincial May 28.

of 28 teams, with a team total of
214 over in the Coca-Cola Bluewa-
ter Regional 3 game, pins over av-
erage Master -Junior rolloffs Sun-
day at Port Elgin.
Owen Sound won the Master -
Junior title with plus 274 and will
now advance to the Master Bowl-
ers' Associationt Ontario Master'
Bantam Championships April 9 at
Hamilton.

finished in seventh spot with plus
149 and Stacey won the Master -
Bantam gifts high siilglc award

Bluewater meeting
The next Bluewater Association
meeting is Friday, 7:30 p.m. at Mo-
lesworth. Important plans will be
made for the Stroh's Ontario Open
coming up March 30 to April 2 at
Hamilton and the O.F.P.B.A. annu-
al convention in June.

Club's rink of skip Albert VanDyk-
en, Doug Pearson, Lorne Rideout
and Stu Bernhardt were runners-up
at the Seagrams O.V. Intermediate
bonspiel in Exeter on the weekend.
Following three days of exciting
curling which saw ten teams partici-
pate in the Ontario Curling Associa-
tion's zone playdowns, Exeter faced
London's Highland Club in the 'B'
side final.
Exeter took two points in the
ninth end to tie the game but unfor-
tunately Highland had the hammer
and their skip won it in the tenth
end.

Winning the 'A' side was the Va-
nastra Curling Club.
