Hay Township contest set ZURICH - The Hay Town- ship Sesquicentennial Steer- ing Committee would like to announce a contest to come up with a theme name for our celebrations in 1996. This slo- gan will appear on billboards, posters, etc. to promote our activities. The contest is open to all residents of the township, young and old. We are offer- ing $50 to the person who submits the winning slogan. In case of a tie (i.e. two or more people submitting the same slogan), the winner's name will be drawn from among them. It might seem like a long way off until 1996, but the committee would like to have a name now for the year so that there is a bright, catchy way to identify our celebra- tions. This will allow time for design and development of the slogan and residents will become familiar with it. The deadline for submis- sion of ideas is May 1, 1994. Please send or drop it off at the Hay Township office. [AT 1ELL, LIVE ELL CENTRALIA - Where has all the snow gone?
