DIETRICH - In loving memory of a dear
husband, father and grandfather, Benedict
Dietrich, who passed away February 9,
1990.
There is nothing so treasured and nothing so
rare,
As the love that a man and his family share,
Through joy, through laughter, sorrow and
tears,
There develops a closeness that grows
through the years.
This love that we shared doesn't need to be
spoken,
It's a wonderful bond that can never be
broken.
A wonderful husband and father laid to rest,
For each of us, you did your best.
No one feels the grief we bear,
When your family gathers and you are not
there.
Your place on earth no one can fill,
We miss you so much and we always will.
Lovingly remembered by his wife Mary
and family. 6•

}Dear Father In Heaven, we thank you
for leaving Gramps in bur care for
these many long years. By how, I
know you've met him, but also realize
you maybe haven't had time to
recognize him in a crowd and for sure
you won't have had the chance to
really get to know him.
He's a fairly small man in stature,
but with a heart as big as all
outdoors. Over the past month he's
lost some of the spring in his step,
but not a bit of the twinkle in his
eyes. If you ne6lfy Want to see them
sparkle, bring up the subjects of
sports, and fishing and of course his
family. Be prepared to have your ear
bent for a long while. because... the
thing of it is, he loves to talk. He's
an O'Brien, after all.
After you're able to pull yourself
away, ask around about, what kinds
of man this Lloyd O'Brien is. Gather
up the Zurich crowd, they'll soon tell
you about a man who saw the Tirst
car pull into town, who was the hired -
hand who had the nerve to marry the
farmer's daughter, who got sick of
hearing everyone say they wanted a
Cascade 40, and was the only
person in town that could call Peter
Regier RED, and get away with it.
These Zurich fellows could go on and
on and probably would if you didn't
walk away.
Now, hunt up some of his family and
they'll tell you about a man who
never learned to eat vegetables, who
had the same Lazy Boy chair since
any of us can remember, and about a
man who made it alright for any of
us, boys or girls, to cry watching a
sad movie or at the drop of a hat, for
that matter.
And I'll tell you about a man who
lived a rich full life that anyone would
be proud of; I know we all are.
We love him and we'll miss him. Take
good care of our Gramps.
And one more thing, God, when you
see a little dog, a beagle for sure.
point him In Gramp's direction.
They're together. Amen.
