tear is wriy,... Christmas Morn
By Joseph Byelis
Zurich P.S., Grade 7
Christmas day is bright,
White gives people delight,
It seems that God is reaching us,
To touch each soul below.
It's a time of love and happiness,
What's this, a little man in sight.
His skin, his skin; it's blue, it's blue
You hear the owl hoot who, who.
Everything he touches turns to ice
and snow,
With a wave of his hand the wind
will blow.
The wind, it sounds like a child
that's lost,
The little man, his name, Jack
Frost.

Dear Santa:
I hope your reindeer are all ready.
Santa, I will like some Lego or a
Nintendo game or a computer.
Yours truly,

Christmas Time
By Julia Geiger
Zurich Public School, Grade 8
Christmas Time is a time for joy,
Not just for a little toy,
Little children may think just so;,
But us older folk, we do know,
That Christmas is a time to share,
To love, to give, and really to care,
That's what makes Christmas so
much fun,
Because of the love in everyone.
