Hi, my name is Ryan. I am 5 years old and m
Kindergarten. I asked my mommy to help me write this
letter to you.
How was your summer? How are the reindeers and
elfs?
There are lots of toys I'd like for Christmas. I'd like a
turtle troll, some games, power rangers, and games for
my game boy. I ask Mommy and Daddy for a Teddy
Ruxpin bear but mommy said I was too old for it but if
you bring it to my little brother Graham who is two, then
I'll get to play with it too!
I hope you have a safe
trip Christmas Eve.
Merry Christmas
P.S. Graham and I will be sure to leave
,out some cookies and milk for you.

it. My brother

baby sister Laura would like some baby toys. We have all
tried to be very good.
Thank you very much Santa. This year we will leave
you a drink of milk and a raisin granola bar for snack.

Before Christmas

It was snowing. Not a creature
was stirring except the mouse. He
was wide awake. He was waiting
for Santa. Then, "Bang" crash".
Santa was there but hurt.
The mouse ran over in such a
hurry that Santa saw the mouse as
children. Santa was scared because
that was his first time anyone had
seen him.
Santa did not look good. The
mouse saw him rubbing his foot
and he said, "Are you okay, San-
ta?„
He said, "No, but 1 have to go."
But Santa couldn't walk so he
told the mouse to got to his shop
and get Santa Two but he wasn't
there. So the two mice went to mice
everywhere and got toys for their
house.
Everybody got presents, and San-
ta was okay.

It's a time to share the feellings
you have with your family. Having
a nice hot meal together.
Eating plum pudding, turkey, jel-

The Night After
Christmas
By Jonathon Thornton
Grade 2, Exeter Public School
Once it was the night after Christ-
mas. Jonathan was playing with his
toys that he got for Christmas when
a big wind came and got his toys.
He was so upset that he cried. His
mom and dad came in. "What's
wrong?" they said. "My toys are
gone, gone, gone!" "Where did they
go?" "A big wind came and got
them", said Jonathan. "Well we will
get them back," said his mother. So
they looked for days and days but
they didn't find them. So Jonathan
got new toys.
